Who I Am:
Hi, I’m Mary Chigozirim Moses-Enyen, a seasoned chartered surveyor and passionate mentor committed to helping professionals achieve their career aspirations in the UK real estate industry. My journey has been one of growth, resilience, and transformation, spanning over a decade and two continents.I began my professional journey in Nigeria, where I developed a strong foundation in estate management, sales, and valuation. My career progressed rapidly through roles at esteemed firms such as Obi Udeh & Co and CDV Properties. During this period, I achieved significant milestones, including becoming an Associate of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) in December 2019 and earning the designation of Registered Valuer from the Estate Surveyors and Valuation Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) in December 2020.
These experiences solidified my expertise in handling asset disposals, portfolio management, and leading high-performing teams. They also instilled in me the discipline, innovation, and adaptability needed to thrive in a dynamic industry.
In 2021, I took a bold step and relocated to the UK to expand my career and explore new opportunities. Transitioning wasn’t easy—I had to adapt to a new market, professional standards, and workplace culture. But through persistence and strategic planning, I earned the MRICS designation as a Chartered Surveyor through the Commercial Real Estate pathway in June 2023 and became an RICS Registered Valuer in November 2024.
Professionally, I joined Leicester City Council as an Estates Valuation Surveyor, where I contributed to property valuations, asset management, and public-sector real estate strategies. My hard work and commitment earned me a promotion to Senior Estates Valuation Surveyor, where I now play a key role within the Corporate Estates division. My interests lie in commercial and corporate estates with a focus on strategic asset management—a field where I continuously aim to innovate and add value.
